FAQ.

Why should I get massage?

Massage promotes faster healing & recovery of tired muscles, relieves stress and should be part of everyone's health program. Best of all it feels good too!

What if I just want to "destress" and want a relaxation massage?

No problem, it's your massage after all!

How often should I get massaged?

That depends on the type of training you are doing or intending to do. But generally weekly/fortnightly for those training at elite/sub-elite/high-fit levels (4+ sessions pw), and stretching out to 3 – 4 weeks for the mere mortal folk. You don’t have to be suffering from soreness:- a regular massage is the key to better health.

Can I use massage in conjunction with other treatments?

Massage addresses specific associated with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitaion.  It can be delivered on its own or in conjunction with other health care professionals by enhancing the benefits of both treatments.

Can I pay upfront for multiple sessions?

Yes. In fact you’ll save a couple of bucks if you do, and you have the opportunity on some pack items to reserve your appointment time for months on end if you wish. See the Massage Rates page for pricing and discounts on multiple sessions.

My friend/relative/neighbour/hairdresser etc. wants a massage, and I would like to recommend you but they aren’t PT member of Gallagher’s, can they still come in?

Yes! You don’t have to be a member at Gallagher’s to have access to massage.

I haven’t been to gym in a while, can I still come in for a massage without you getting on my case about it?

Yes. Just because you aren’t working out as much doesn’t mean that you should stop getting massaged as well. If you don’t have time for gym, then you must still be very busy, even more reason to get a massage!
