Have you got that Christmas party coming up? Or for some of us…those parties?
We all know that those parties can entice us with there array of glorious colorful foods, hot and ready to eat with that sweet and inviting smell… The taste of that thick, rich and sweet mince fruit cake! Heck, you’ve earn’t it right? You’ve worked a long day, a long week, along year. Let your hair down!
The taste, the ease, and the feeling immediately afterwards…

Welcome to the side effect of over eating and over drinking!
So why do we do it to ourselves?
We have worked so hard to get into shape for the warmer months ahead, months of carefully watching our intake of foods, daily morning walks when we could have stayed in bed and not to mention those grueling weight sessions in the gym.
In a swift swoop of the left hand, function after function, slowly our nemesis gets a stranglehold…
Pants are getting tighter! You feel more fatigued at the end of the day. Not sleeping as well as you have and simply, you just don’t have your usual mojo!
So what now? How do we tackle this Christmas dilemma? Well…. Time to make a plan!
THE CHRISTMAS BODY SCULPT PLAN
And it’s easy to follow.
Let’s break it down into 2 groups: EATING & TRAINING
EATING
- Eat your usual breakfast everyday
- Only snack mid morning or mid afternoon
- Snack on nuts, fresh fruits and low carb cruskets
- Avoid heavy sauces, dips and sugary drinks
- Eat white meat accompanied by fresh salads for lunch and dinner.
- Try to limit your alcohol intake to the ‘very special days’ not out of habit
TRAINING
- Walk/exercise first thing in the morning
- Walk immediately after lunch, even 15 minutes; (show your family that nice house down the street!)
- Walk/exercise at night, get outside and enjoy the weather.
- Try to maintain your resistance training, even once per week will spare you’re hard earned strength and muscle tone!
- Keeping within 5% of your current weight will allow you to continue into the New Year feeling good, functional and happy.
We hope this keeps you on the straight and narrow over the next couple of weeks!
Happy Training… Partying…Eating and Drinking!
